Hi, I'm Jiaying, the photographer behind JYCphotography.

My journey with photography began in 2016, when I took a photography course in college. What started as a hobby gradually became a more serious creative pursuit, growing alongside my love of travel and exploration.

Over the years, I've photographed landscapes, cities, and remote destinations around the world — from the ground and from the air. Photography has become a way for me to slow down, observe a place more closely, and look for perspectives that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Today, JYC Photography brings together those years of exploration in a collection of original fine-art photographs, each created from a place I've personally experienced and photographed.

For me, a photograph is more than a beautiful view.

Place is where the story begins — from remote mountains and coastlines to cities and quiet landscapes discovered along the way.

Pursuit is everything behind the photograph: the journey, the weather, the early mornings, the unexpected detours, and sometimes simply being in the right place for a fleeting moment.

Perspective is what transforms a place into a photograph — finding an angle, pattern, light, or detail that makes somewhere familiar feel new.

I created JYC Photography to bring these experiences into the spaces where we live and work.

A photograph might remind you of somewhere you've traveled, somewhere you call home, or somewhere you still hope to explore. My hope is that it gives your space not only a view, but also a sense of discovery and a story worth returning to.
