Little Lots (“the app”) is made by Jiaying Chen, an individual developer. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app. The short version: we don’t run servers, we don’t collect your data, and we can’t see what you save.

Your data and iCloud
If you’re signed in to iCloud, Little Lots backs up your plans, memories, photos, custom themes and settings to your own private iCloud account, using Apple’s CloudKit and iCloud key-value storage. This data is stored in your iCloud, not on our servers, and we cannot access it. If iCloud is off, your data stays on your iPhone only.
The app also checks the App Store for new versions. This sends only your region, not any personal information.

Groups
When you create a group, its ideas, draws, member names and emoji, memories and photos are stored in your private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit, and shared only with the people you invite. When you join someone else’s group, its content is stored in the owner’s iCloud and a copy is kept on your device. Only group members can see group content. We cannot see it. Photos are resized and their location data is removed before sharing.
To use groups you must be signed in to iCloud. Apple handles iCloud data under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Photos, camera and maps

• Camera and photos: used only when you choose to add a photo to a memory. Photos are saved on your device and, if iCloud is on, in your own private iCloud backup (or in your group, if you share them there).

• Location: Little Lots does not access your location. When you tap Find nearby, the app opens Apple Maps with a search. Apple Maps may ask for its own location permission, which is handled by Apple.

Content updates
The app may download updated theme content (ideas, cities and places) from Apple’s CloudKit. This download does not include any information about you.

Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment details or your Apple Account information. The app only checks with Apple whether your subscription is active.

Feedback and reports
If you send feedback or report content, your email app sends a message to us that you can read before sending. Reports include the reason you chose, your note, the group name, an internal ID of the reported item and your display name, so we can review it. We use these messages only to respond, improve the app and keep groups safe, and delete them when no longer needed.

What we don’t do
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, and no selling or sharing of personal data.

Children
Little Lots is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

• Delete a memory, plan, theme or group in the app at any time. If iCloud is on, it is also removed from your iCloud backup.

• Leave a group, or remove members from a group you own.

• Turn off iCloud backup for Little Lots in iPhone Settings > [your name] > iCloud.

• To remove everything: delete the app to remove data stored on your device, then delete Little Lots data from iCloud in iPhone Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Little Lots. Group data you own is removed when you delete the group.

Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
