Across the golden plateau of Giza, the pyramids rise beneath an intensely blue Egyptian sky. In the foreground, camels rest quietly in colorful saddles, adding texture, scale, and a glimpse of present-day activity to one of the world's most recognizable ancient landscapes.
I captured this original photograph during my journey through Egypt in January 2025. What drew me to the scene wasn't simply the pyramids themselves, but the contrast unfolding in front of them — monuments that have endured for thousands of years alongside an ordinary moment happening today.
